ROOM REFRESH: Master Bedroom Sources

IMG_3493.jpeg

If there’s a piece that has inspired our home, it’s this wood-and-metal stool that I found at Target years ago. I love how it juxtaposes raw with gloss, wood and metal, natural with crisp, and and so it goes with every inch of this house - my own personal showcase of high/low and old/new, embracing all kinds of contrasts.

Enter: our new sheets from Parachute Home. I had been eye’ing all things Parachute for some time now, admiring its casual, unfussy beach-y style, neutral tones, materials and careful details. I already had a bargain pick-and-stitch quilt and matching shams, had been hoping to pair them with a beautiful but neutral sheet set. And so, after much dreaming and researching, I took a chance during Parachute’s Black Friday sale on its percale sheet sets in a lovely parchment-meets-sand color.

In this season of life throwing us all kinds of curveballs, splurging (but saving!) on sheets over the holidays seemed like a really kind thing to do for my husband and myself, and I’m so thankful I did. What you see on my bed from Parachute:

To close out my Parachute love letter: beyond the color, the material is exactly what I wish for in a sheet: crisp and cool to the touch, but also so cozy and warm like your favorite college t-shirt. What I love most: the sheets weather through the week so nicely. On day 7, they look and feel as good as they did on day 1.

Here’s a list of other bed-related items that you see above and from my last post with more bedroom photos. Some are recent finds, and others are not-so-recent and no longer available.
