Grown Up Room for Two

This stay-at-home season is also known as our DIY season - sound familiar? We finally got to some long overdue projects, and moving my girls out of bunk beds and into a more mature shared space was at the top of our list. This project is my favorite kind: a few paint touch-ups, a few purchases and the majority of our efforts were spent on re-purposing what we had to make everything in the room work harder and smarter for us.

Today, I’m sharing some views of my favorite room in the house, shared by my 9-yr. old and 6.5-yr. old. I’ll eventually share their storage/dresser and closet, which is what makes this zen space possible (truth: the disaster often lurks behind the curtain). For now, here’s a taste of this space, and for those items that are still available, I’ve included source links following the images.
